Job description Beau Ridge at Oxford Farms, Oxford’s only independent senior living community, is looking for an energetic caring person to be our Director of Activities! Primary Responsibilities: Plans and coordinates programs and activities that are varied and reflect the interests, values, and beliefs of the residents and provides life-enriching opportunities for the residents and the community. Prepares monthly activity calendar, develops profiles for each resident, and supervises volunteers, Plan and chaperones off campus activities, arranges caterers, entertainers, decorators, etc. for scheduled events, works closely with the Executive Director & Marketing Director on in-house family and friend events, decorates for seasons, holidays, and special events, creates invitations, notifications, letters to families and manages RSVP lists for events. Participates in resident and family meetings. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on the community’s mission. Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
