BASIC FUNCTION

The Distribution Group Leader is responsible for supporting the Distribution Managers in maintaining proper discipline, productivity, quality, GMP and safety in Distribution operational tasks. Assists management in daily Distribution operations and activities. Must possess a working knowledge of all Distribution positions. Must be able to schedule and direct employees, maintain efficiencies and train on procedures and equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Allocates and assigns departmental resources to ensure achievement of the department’s daily objectives.

• Provides coverage for other supervision as required including off-shift assignments.

• Makes recommendations for improvements in operating procedures, facilities, accuracy, and efficiencies.

• Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly work area within acceptable GMP guidelines, maintaining a safe work area, proper use of supplies and equipment, observance and enforcement of all company policies and operating procedures.

• Trains, instructs, assists, evaluates personnel, and makes recommendations of employees during probationary periods.

• Works with internal customers to improve or resolve related issues.

• Safety conscious – reports all unsafe acts or conditions to the manager or the appropriate person.

• Conducts Safety/GMP talks and provides documentation.

• Proficient in all Distribution job assignments and procedures within the assigned work area.

• Observes all GMP procedures and demonstrates Good Housekeeping Habits.

• Sets the example and observes all company policies, prescribed work breaks and meal periods.

• Carries out the operational functions of the manager in the absence of the manager.

• Displays good attitude and initiative, works well with fellow employees, and has good communication skills.

• Coordinates the activities with Warehousing, Manufacturing and Transportation to successfully complete all orders in accordance with customer requirements.

• Must be able to complete Hazmat Training.

• Performs all other duties as assigned by the manager.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Working knowledge of SAP, RF and DAS systems and all other necessary software applicable to Revlon’s Distribution Operations.

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Working knowledge of and capable of operating all hourly Distribution functions
