Chemical Plant Operations Supervisor

As a Chemical Plant Operations Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our chemical manufacturing facility in Port Manatee. You will be accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient production of chemical products, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your guidance and expertise will be instrumental in optimizing plant operations, reducing downtime, controlling production costs, and ensuring the quality of our chemical products.

You will report directly to our Plant Manager and you’ll work onsite at our Palmetto, Florida location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and success of our chemical manufacturing facility by managing day-to-day operations, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving operational excellence. Your ability to guide a team, optimize production processes, and uphold high standards of safety and environmental responsibility will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and oversee all aspects of the chemical plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.

  • Guide and motivate a team of operators and technicians to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years in managing chemical plant operations.

  • Strong knowledge of process safety, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.

  • Excellent guidance and communication skills.
