LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Systems Administrator II.
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Job Description:
The Systems Administrator II administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers on the PEO Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC) Support Services contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
- Train staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications.
- Compliance with the Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives, including any required certifications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- 3 years of professional experience in systems administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong time management skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
- Travel Required 10% travel required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
