Adecco US, Inc. Accounting / Administrative Assistant in Park City, Kansas
Adecco is filling an Accounting Assistant position on a Direct Hire basis located in Park City, KS.
8am – 5pm, Mon thru Fri plus OT
$20 / $25 per hour, possibly more DOE

This position will include administrative and accounting duties working for a general contracting company.
Accounting duties:
Adjusting Journal Entries
Cost of Goods Sold
Reconciliations
Prepare and file sales tax returns monthly
Prepare and file annual state registrations in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas
Prepare quarterly WIP reports
Maintain progress billing summaries for each project (job costing)
Certified Payroll reporting, Prevailing Wage Reports - state jobs
Prepare the diesel usage breakdown by project & company
Travel reservations for out of town projects
Assist with annual audits
Prepare monthly AIA pay applications on projects and invoicing on residential projects
Administrative duties:
Assist with filing bids
Maintain equipment files
Maintain the annual vehicle registrations
Maintain and file the USDOT reports
Track subcontractors’ documents on projects
Assist with change orders and close-out documents on projects
Set up new project files
Keep track of completion deadlines for LDs
Prepare all the filings in AASHTOWARE for KDOT projects
Keep track of all of the user names and passwords for email addresses and manage the email account, software applications, and software subscriptions
Assist with reception and answering phones
Call in for utility marking on projects with One-Call
Assist estimators with calls looking for subcontractors if needed
Copy and assemble hiring packets
Be willing to jump in and help where help is needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Accounting background required
Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
Experience working for construction company a plus
Computer savvy
Able to work with a team
Attention to detail
Reliability
