Barilla G. & R. F.lli wants to recruit a Mills HSE&E Manager.
The individual will be based in Italy (Parma / Altamura / Castelplanio / Ferrara / Galliate) and will report solid to the Purchasing Director Durum Wheat Mills and dotted to the VP HSE&E.
The role will be accountable for promoting a culture of Safety, Prevention and respect for the Environment & Energy within the four Italian mills (Altamura, Castelplanio, Ferrara, Galliate) and the Greek mill (Volos) through the correct implementation of Management Systems and training, ensuring the correct compliance with local legislation and the guidelines defined at Group level while the Line is responsible of the HSE&E procedure application.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Act as the main point of reference for all aspects of HSEE for regulatory agency and within the mills.
Ensure the correct implementation and maintenance of Mills Health and Safety, Environmental & Energy (HSE&E) management system according to international standard ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, guaranteeing continuous improvement and constant monitoring of environmental, energy and workplace health & safety indicators
Ensure that European, national, regional and local legislative provisions relating to HSEE issues are known and applied within the millls and ensure the correct application of the Group's guidelines and recommendation.
Based on competence analysis identify education, training and informative activity, ensure among employees the promotion of a culture of Health, Safety & Prevention and respect for the Environment and Energy saving
Ensure that Hazards & Risk Evaluation and Environmental Aspects Evaluation systems are implemented and regularly updated (in the event of new installations and activities) and control action defined
Ensure the timely investigation of injuries, environmental accidents, fire principle and near misses; provide recommendations to prevent recurrence and support lawsuits and litigation.
Ensure that management systems certification audits, second part and internal audits, inspections and observations are planned and prepared with the involvement of the site organisation.
Ensure that Health and Safety, Environmental, Energy and Fire Prevention mills authorizations are correctly and timely submitted, managed and updated.
Ensure the correct implementation of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) procedure in order to select the PPE needed for each activity
Ensure the correct application of the Fire Prevention and Emergency Management systems through the control and maintenance of the fire prevention and fire-fighting equipment and installations
Ensure HSEE aspect are analysed and taken into account when area, equipment and procedure are newly introduced or updated
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Technical subjects (e.g., Envirionmental Engineering) and related fields
At least 3-5 years of work experience, knowledge of HSE&E topics and backgrounds in HSE&E required
Prevention and Protection Manager qualification (Italian RSPP qualification) will be considered as a plus
Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
Collaborative approach and team orientation, good relational and interpersonal skills: strong ability to work in inter functional teams, good teambuilding skills

Ability to share knowledge
Willing to travel (up to 60%)
