ADP Project Advisor - Professional Services in Parsippany, New Jersey

ADP is hiring a Project Advisor for our Enhanced Time Project Services Team.

In this position you will provide technical support to clients for their fees-based project requests. You will collaborate with various teams across our Service, Implementation and Professional Services organization for projects such as standardizations, spins, mergers & acquisitions, module setup/rewrites, system reconfiguration and advanced troubleshooting. You will stay current with emerging technology and trends in order to provide technical and consultative support for incoming Enhanced Time and ADP Workforce Manager projects

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management. Lead and manage multiple payroll projects simultaneously. Develop detailed Statements of Works, project plans, timelines, and milestones.

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery. Properly record hours worked post project closure through our internal tracking systems.

Serve as the subject matter expert. You will use your expertise to help lead the workflow of the project team. You will apply industry and product knowledge to optimize system (re)configurations and product upgrades. You will configure software solutions to meet client specifications, customize system features and functionalities based on new client requirements. Additionally, you will ensure compatibility and integration with existing systems and processes.   • Custom Time Off Request Templates

Configurations & Changes

  • Labor Level changes

  • New Pay Configuration Setup

  • TLMi Setup & Reconfiguration

  • Major Pay Configuration Changes

  • Pay Frequency Changes

  • Company Code Standardizations

Ensure client satisfaction and retention. You will use your problem-solving and relationship-building skills to provide timely solution delivery within client-defined timelines. You will conduct needs assessments and gather client requirements. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project life cycle until your clients are successfully running ADP solutions post changes. You will also provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns.

Quality Assurance. With your initiative and knowledge, you will do this with minimal direction on procedural matters. With your diligence, you will ensure accuracy of all aspects of client set up. You will perform rigorous testing to ensure the system meets all functional and performance criteria. Identify and resolve any issues or bugs during the project and conduct post-project completion reviews to gather client feedback and make necessary adjustments.

Collaborate. You will exchange routine information with members of your client project team, including priorities, timeliness, and issues as they arise. You will interact with ADP associates in sales, implementation and customer service. You will be encouraged to provide input to management on process improvement and product enhancements. You may also coach, mentor, and serve as an escalation point for our service or implementation partners.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 5 - 8 Years ADP Client Services or equivalent outside experience with supporting Enhanced Time, Enterprise Etime and ADP Workforce Manager products and related module add-on’s

  • 2 – 3 years of Project management experience with proven examples of effectively managing various tasks/projects and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong relationship building skills with internal partners and external clients

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or Equivalent in Education or experience with a Major Area of Concentration in Information Technology.

  • Microsoft office suite, client server, Operating Systems, TCP/IP

  • Advanced Project management skills with CAPM or PMP certifications

  • Flexible work schedule
