Commercial Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Job Description

As a Commercial Project Manager, you'll manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, staying within budget, and maintaining top-tier quality. This role involves leading project teams, collaborating with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders, and fostering client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with commercial project specifications and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and on-site teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

  • Lead and direct project teams by assigning responsibilities, providing guidance, and monitoring progress.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates clearly while proactively addressing risks or challenges.

  • Cultivate strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.

  • Oversee financial aspects of projects, including cost tracking, change order management, and profitability.

  • Secure necessary permits, licenses, and certifications in compliance with regulations and building codes.

  • Monitor key metrics and prepare reports on project progress for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field OR 5+ years of proven experience in commercial project management.

  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $49.00/hr.
