Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Control-M software on various platforms, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with existing systems.

  • Job Scheduling: Design, implement, and manage job schedules to automate and optimize business processes, ensuring timely execution and monitoring of batch jobs.

  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor job execution and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution of incidents.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of job definitions, processes, and procedures. Create user guides and training materials for staff.

  • Performance Tuning: Analyze job performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Control-M with various applications and systems.

  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols for Control-M, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

  • Upgrades and Patching: Manage software upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to services and compliance with best practices.

  • User Support: Provide support to end-users, addressing queries and issues related to job scheduling and Control-M functionalities.
