Lake Region Electric Cooperative, a member-owned electric utility, has an amazing opportunity for a Mechanic to join our organization in our Operations Department. On-site in our Pelican Rapids, MN office, this individual contributor role ensures the smooth operation of over 60 fleet vehicles and equipment, including pickup trucks, SUVs, trailers, skid steer, mini excavator, backhoe, ditch witch, digger, bucket and dump trucks. Schedule, perform and document regular inspections including Department of Transportation (DOT) required inspections. Repair and overhaul vehicles including engines, transmissions, tire repair and rotation. Perform maintenance on vehicles electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Responsible for purchasing, storing and maintaining parts, supplies and fluids for timely completion of services.
