Responsibilities You will serve as the liaison for budget, accounting, and financial management policy and procedures for the Marine Corps. You will perform continuing program/budget execution reviews, analysis and appraisals of major operating and support programs throughout the Marine Corps. You will demonstrate knowledge of principles, practices, laws and regulations relating to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting Execution (PPBE) system and its relation to subordinate and senior levels. You will prepare execution briefs for Senior Leadership on program/budget execution and provide recommendations to correct program/budget variances or problem areas. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leads, influences, and builds consensus among field comptrollers and subordinate analysis with differing experience levels and objectives; and design or lead cost or budget model development to develop business process improvements and improve the quality and timelines of program and budget submissions. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
