Job Title: Roofing Foreman
Job Description
The Roofing Foreman will manage a site project, leading a crew of 3-6 workers. This hands-on leader must have over 10 years of experience in commercial, low-slope roofing.
Responsibilities
Run and manage a site project.
Lead and supervise a crew of 3-6 workers.
Ensure company safety policies and material instructions are comprehended and explained.
Communicate effectively to supervise employees and maintain customer relations.
Utilize technology proficiently, including using a tablet such as an iPad.
Maintain reliable transportation and pass compliance requirements.
Hold a valid driver's license and OSHA 30 certification.
Identify existing and predictable hazards in the work surroundings, including unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous conditions.
Oversee and maintain company safety requirements, ensuring they are known and understood by all workers.
Essential Skills
10+ years of experience in commercial, low-slope roofing.
Proficient reading, writing, and math skills.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency with technology, including tablets.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license.
OSHA 30 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read drawings.
Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more, and climb ladders and scaffolds.
Capability to work at heights and in extreme temperatures, and wear company safety equipment.
Experience with crew leadership and professional communication with customers.
Proficiency in leak investigations and roofing patch and repairs for all types of commercial roofs, including TPO, PVC, Asphalt BUR/Gravel, EPDM, Cold Process, and Fluid Applied.

Work Environment
The workday starts at the shop before heading to various commercial site locations. The environment includes standing and walking for long periods, lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working at heights and in extreme temperatures. Safety equipment is provided and must be worn.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Peoria, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80080.00 - $84240.00/yr.
