Duration of internship from 3 to 6 months As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn't interfere with the essential functions of the position. Education/Experience: Graduate student in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science Documented lab hands on research experience. Background in semiconductor materials/devices. Required Skills/Competencies: Good knowledge of semiconductor materials/devices. Electrical and optical characterization of thin films and semiconductor devices. Basic Internship Scope (Project): Attend meetings, work in the lab executing planned experiments, collect and analyse data, present data on group meetings. Understanding fundamental mechanisms of material and device degradation in CdTe solar cells. Upon the completion of this internship, the intern is required to present their accomplishments and project summary to the leadership team. Estimated Salary Range: $18-$39 Hourly US Physical Requirements: Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift. Will climb stairs on an occasional basis. Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basis.
