Community Health Systems RN Emergency Services- Mid Shift 11a-11p in PERU, Indiana

Dukes Memorial is seeking an RN for our Emergency Department.

  • Night Shift (7p-7a)

Summary: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma nurse required; BSN preferred.

Experience:

Previous acute care experience preferred.

Previous ED experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:

  • RN licensure in the state of Indiana.

  • Newly hired staff must have or obtain the following certifications within the following time frames:

  • Initial BLS within 7 days of start date but no more than 30 days.

  • Basic EKG class within 30 days of start date but no more than 90 days.

  • Initial ALS and initial PALS within 90 days but no more than 6 months.

  • TNCC certification within 2 years.

  • Certifications must be renewed per certification policy if already obtained.
