Job Title: Assembler/Shipping Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Assembler/Shipping Assistant responsible for product manufacturing/assembly and shipping/warehouse support duties. The role involves assembling irrigation controllers that help customers save water.

Responsibilities

• Perform product manufacturing, shipping, packaging, warehouse, quality control, and engineering support duties as directed.

• Operate test and measurement equipment to ensure products work prior to shipping.

• Follow assembly documentation to properly assemble products to quality standards.

• Facilitate shipping and receiving using various automated methods.

• Perform basic data entry into ERP software.

• Safely use various material handling equipment like pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified).

• Palletize products, load and unload materials and equipment.

Essential Skills

• Basic assembly and repetitive tasks experience (training provided).

• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs occasionally using ergonomic equipment.

• Strong attendance and reliability.

• Proficiency in English.

• Willingness to get forklift certified.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shipping and receiving.

• Forklift operation experience.

Work Environment

Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for voluntary overtime and Saturday shifts. Enjoy a structured team environment where 80% of your day is spent on assembly tasks and 20% on shipping duties. Use hand tools and electronic screwdrivers in an air-conditioned space, with occasional non-AC work. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
