Inventory Control Specialist
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in ERP software, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Job Description
Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM
Pay: $25/hr.-$27/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
ERP Software Utilization: Track inventory movements, update stock levels, and generate reports for management using ERP software.
Shipment Coordination: Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of all shipping and receiving activities, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and discrepancies.
Freight Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate freight shipments with carriers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Issue Resolution: Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues or delays to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment as needed.
Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain warehouse layout to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
Product Assembly: Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
Proficiency in ERP software and inventory tracking systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to operate material handling equipment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
