Maintenance Technician
*$28 - $34/hour *
Langhorne, VA
Job Responsibilities
Equipment Management :
Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, remove, install, operate, and assemble complex pumps, motors, compressors, heat exchangers, chemical handling systems, and related components.
Remove, replace, repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically operated valves.
Remove and install electronic and mechanical instrumentation devices.
Electrical Work :
Able to replace electrical bucket components like fuses, breakers, soft starts, VFDs, etc.
Complete wiring for motors and lights.
Have knowledge of some electrical components such as electrically connecting motors.
Tool Operation :
Operate various tools including hand tools, pneumatic, and electric tools.
Ability to operate welders – primarily MIG welding
Blueprints and Schematics :
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Safety and Compliance :
Follow all safety guidelines and complete incident reports immediately when required.
Complete Monthly Safety Training on time.
Perform general housekeeping in the maintenance shop and throughout the facility.
Qualifications
Experience : Previous experience in a similar maintenance role.
Skills : Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read and interpret schematics, basic electrical knowledge, and proficiency with hand tools.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
