Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst / Data Developer to join our data team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals seeking a career in data analytics and BI platform development. You will gain exposure to various processes and tools used to collect, transform, load, and ensure the quality of data from multiple sources into an analytical system for analysis and reporting. You will have the opportunity to work with industry-leading tools and technologies, including ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Informatica, Kafka, various API platforms, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance of our self-service BI platform, including reporting and data pipelines:

  • Build new and modify existing reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and data pipelines that facilitate business insights.

  • Process data files that require semi-manual transformations, identify efficiencies, and develop automated data pipelines for these tasks.

  • Create automated data quality validation and data observability solutions to ensure data integrity across various sources and platform; improve processes efficiency and accuracy

  • Perform data cataloging by using Informatica CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) services: catalog data sources, reports, APIs, document data flow across systems and reports, maintain business glossary, etc.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot data-related issues, and deliver user-friendly solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Excel, including functions and macros.

  • Ability to create and modify SQL queries.

  • Working knowledge of Python or other programming languages.

  • Experience with ThoughtSpot add/or Natural Language Generation software is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, master data management, data analytics, BI reporting, and data science is a plus.

  • Experience with data catalog tools like Informatica CDGC, Collibra, or Alation is a plus.

  • Background in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
