Construction Quality Control Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality in our industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management and quality control, particularly within industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with EM 385 regulations.

  • Manage quality control processes for industrial construction projects.

  • Review and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.

  • Implement and monitor quality control plans and procedures.

  • Coordinate with project management and construction teams to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure project quality.

  • Prepare and submit quality control reports to management and clients.

  • Resolve any quality-related issues that arise during construction.

Essential Skills

  • EM 385 certification.

  • US citizenship.

  • 10 years of construction experience.

  • 5 years of experience in industrial construction.

  • 5 years of experience in a QC manager or similar role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification.

  • Experience with Navfac and USACE projects.

  • Proficiency in construction management software.

  • Strong project management skills.

Work Environment

  • This position is based onsite at the Navy yard, working 5 days a week.

  • The project will start in January and is expected to continue until August 2027.

  • This is a 12-month contract-to-hire position, with the potential to become permanent or be extended for the duration of the project.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $52.88
