To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable leader to join our team as a Motor Pool Supervisor in our Ground Handling Department. The primary responsibility of the position is overseeing the Motor Pool Area. This includes oversight of the preparation, inspection, and dispatch of motorized transportation equipment. The successful candidate will have familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, be able to lift seventy (70) pounds, and be able to work outside in all weather conditions. This position will report to the Regional Manager, Ground Support Equipment.
Essential Duties:
Oversee the preparation, inspection, and dispatch of motorized transportation equipment in the Motor Pool Area
Inspect and check equipment in/out to authorized users
Maintain inspection and records logs
Post service requests as needed for faulty equipment using specialized software
Complete proper notification of reported or observed accidents and damages
Coordinate repair work with Ground Service Equipment Mechanics
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Ability to work all shifts, all days including nights, weekends, holidays
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Successful completion of training course
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with diesel, gas, and electric vehicles
Familiarity with the Airport Operations Area
Work Environment:
Use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment
Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
Physical Requirements:
Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
Handle objects up to 70 pounds

Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

Starting Rate:
$18.61/Hourly - 26.00/Hourly (Based on locale and experience)
