Description
Robert Half is currently working with a prominent company who is seeking an Operations Assistant. As the Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for applying organizational skills and attention to detail to several areas across the organization including Bookkeeping, Office Management and Client Relations.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently process client orders and requests
Oversee general office procedures and monitor employees to ensure compliance
Handle bookkeeping responsibilities on the QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Platform, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger Management
Process incoming and outgoing shipments and reconcile weekly/monthly shipments
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Interface with banking partner to execute foreign exchange contracts and pay international vendors
Maintain and update Profit and Loss (P& L) and balance sheets
Interface with clients via phone or email to fulfill requests and orders as needed.
Requirements
The ideal Operations Assistant candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
Other requirements for the Operations Assistant position include and are not limited to:
7+ years of accounting/office support functions
International shipping experience
Quickbooks and any large ERP experience preferred
Logistics industry or vendor relations preferred
Excellent communication
Ability to work well independently and on a team
