Job Summary Neural tissue engineering lab in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems is in need of a part time post-doctoral fellow to assist in sponsored research projects. Essential Functions Nanoparticle Fabrication and Characterization: Synthesizing and analyzing nanoparticles for therapeutic use. Cell Culture Studies: Conducting in vitro experiments to assess the biological effects of the nanoparticles. Animal Studies: Performing nanoparticle injections, tissue harvesting, and histological analyses to evaluate therapeutic efficacy. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications PhD. Biomedical Engineering, Biosciences, or a related field. Zero Experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Neural tissue engineering. Physical Requirements Typically sitting at a desk/table. Typically standing, walking. Lifting demands up to 25lbs. Location University City - Philadelphia, PA Additional Information This is a Casual position classified as non-exempt. The pay offered is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
