Temporary Research Assistant needed to assist senior scientists in the lab with experiments studying the role of long noncoding RNAs in the setting of cardiovascular disease.

Job Description

Temporary Research Assistant needed to assist senior scientists in the lab with experiments studying the role of long noncoding RNAs in the setting of cardiovascular disease. S/he will conduct molecular biology experiments, including cloning DNA constructs, western blotting, and using quantitative PCR. S/he will also do cell culture experiments and grow human and mouse cell lines under various conditions. S/he will be responsible for genotyping mice using PCR as well as help with tissue collections from these animals.

$12.50/hr, 30 hrs/wk
