As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, within the Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex Avionics systems and solutions, including Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) product lines. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft operations, contributing to the advancement of avionics technology.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced avionics systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the design and implementation of advanced Avionics systems, including Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions
Conduct system-level analysis, requirements definition, and optimization
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally in the Avionics space

Knowledge of avionics, aerospace or related systems and industry standards
Experience with avionics system integration and testing
Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations and certification processes
Strong leadership and communication skills
