Hiring Forklift Operators

• $23/hour

• 1st shift

• Need to be comfortable working outdoors

Description:

• Complete daily pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report (or VCR)

• Load and unload trailers, rail cars and/or containers

• Support roll cutter by supplying and emptying totes as needed

• Assist with roll splitting, sorting, deboxing, shredding and receiving

• Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments

• Assist with basic material grading

• Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment

• Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure

• Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar, bale size and weight variables

• Assist with removing finished bales and storing in proper location

• Complete daily weekly monthly PMs for all certified mobile equipment

• Other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Will be on Forklift 90% of the day

• Must have 2+ years of experience operating a sit down forklift

• Experience loading and unloading

• loading rail cars specifically a plus

• bilingual a HUGE plus

• house keeping duties such as cleaning are required

• Must be able to lift 50 + pounds
