Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by leading excellence in day-to-day franchise operations; ensures and enforces brand standard adherence; ensures execution of operations systems and tools, conducts operational assessments and creates action plans for growth and improvement; influences franchisees to drive business results through the development of a trusting and mutually beneficial working relationship.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
Ensures adherence to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the HoneyBaked brand in all franchisee stores and among all Franchise Owners and Franchise Store Teams
Develops and nurtures trusting and mutually beneficial business relationships with franchisees
Ensures operational, food safety, marketing, and customer experience brand standard adherence
Supports additional franchise development area planning and the new store opening process
Trains, coaches, and supports new and current franchise owners to execute the New Store Opening Roadmap to ensure successful new store openings and sustained sales growth
Conducts a comprehensive annual business review of the franchisee's operational and financial performance, as well as, semi-annual Operations Excellence Review (OER)
Communicates opportunities, performance gaps, and areas of influence to the Director, Franchise Operations and Senior Vice President, Franchise Operations
Ensures Voice of the Customer Program is trained and executed to ensure a consistent and highly satisfying customer experience intended to build sales and brand loyalty
Leverages Limited-Time-Only (LTO) and Holiday promotions to increase market share, build sales, and grow transactions as key drivers of a profitable business model
Is uncompromising in the execution of local and national food safety and health standards, as well as, strict compliance to the brands Food Safety and Pest Management Programs
Ensures the brand's marketing calendar is executed flawlessly through completion of in-store visits, Checks for Excellence, and consistent coaching and communications
Trains and coaches Franchise Owners, Operators, and Store Managers to utilize HoneyBaked food, labor, and controllable expenses systems to effectively manage costs
Provides consultation and expertise to improve margins, operational efficiencies, and profits
Serves as a role-model and leader-led example of fostering and inspiring a Growth-Mindset
Responsible for achieving sales and profit goals; utilizes available reports to identify opportunities and ensures that correct operational procedures are followed at all times
Builds capability and working expertise to provide problem solving and planning solutions
Maintains store-level compliance to Federal, State, and Local Laws
WHAT WE THINK YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree preferred with 5+ years of extensive multi-unit franchise leadership and operational roles preferably within the retail or restaurant industry with a demonstrated record of excellent customer service and quality standards. Along with operational expertise, the role requires strong business acumen, computer skills (particularly in Word and Excel), excellent communication skills across the board along and excellent interpersonal skills. The nature of this role really demands top notch organizational and planning skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Success in this role looks like:
An understanding of P&L statements, budgeting and controllable costs
Strong analytical skills, including proven ability to develop, manage, and interpret metrics
Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Personal flexibility and comfort in managing change with little notice
WHAT ELSE? TRAVEL
The role requires about 75% travel (via car or air) and typically involves overnight stays, so you must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence, keep a good driving record and maintain a specified minimum level of automobile insurance coverage.
