The level 57 position is a critical role for the success of leading Digital Utilities Technology - Case Management Bus / Document Intake System team to accelerate CES digital transformation, utilizing strong technical background to efficiently provide design, engineering, and support needs, conforming with SAVE SRE standards and best practices, team building and mentoring, foreseeing and planning out key deliverables with development and business partners, establishing Hyperscience to its full potential to increase business key results, continually working with outside partners to complete team and domain objectives, and leading the program to overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Hyperscience software

  • Document intake and workflow concepts from upstream channels to downstream systems

  • Administer and automate builds, deployments, and establish CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo/Harness

  • Conduct and provide support guidelines for system healthchecks around Qualys, currency patching, infrastructure maintenance work, etc.

  • Establish and review Runbooks for guidelines and remediations

  • Create and maintain system alerts and dashboards in Splunk

  • Review and update application and system error code criticality for proper escalation

  • Work with and Dev/QA teams around automation, functional, and regression testing using Harness/GitHub

  • Active participant in Agile standups, story reviews, and PI planning

  • Perform daily system monitoring, trend analysis, verifying the integrity and availability of all systems and key processes

  • Enhance best practices to automate Splunk Org migrations and write scripts to reduce manual tasks

  • Provide technical guidance both in writing and verbally on implementations, process improvement, remediations, issue resolutions, etc.

  • Engage across various domains to obtain information and gauge dependencies and prerequisites

  • Work independently using Subject Matter Expertise knowledge to provide answers or narrow down options for interested parties to make decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Document Processing tools: Hyperscience, Datacap on WebSphere

  • Working knowledge of Monitoring tools - Splunk, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Extra Hop

  • Working experience with Schwab systems and processes

  • Knowledge of networking including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers and IP routing

  • Familiarity with one or more databases- Oracle, SQL Server, Mongo DB

  • Preferred experience with C#, .NET, Java and scripting

  • Extensive experience in Enterprise level Infrastructure orchestration with SALT, Kubernetes, IAAS

  • Experience in High Availability and distributed systems, Linux and Windows administration, troubleshooting and support

  • Experience transitioning platforms to the cloud, good understanding of cloud technologies – GCP, Azure, PCF

  • Experience with Atlassian tools Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Harness

  • Excellent debugging skills across a variety of integrated platforms
