Job Description:

Parsons seeks highly skilled mid to senior-level Java developers to join our team providing mission critical software applications to the US Army. The candidate will work within a team setting providing full cycle software engineering and development support for an application that focuses on physics-based modeling and simulation of exterior ballistics.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics

• A strong level of knowledge in Java

• Agile development experience

• Experience working with Jira

• Experience working with GitLab and Subversion

• Knowledge of Modular Open Systems Architecture and/or SOLID design principles

• Windows development experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• A Secret level security clearance

• A master’s degree in computer sciences, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics

• Strong knowledge in physics and mathematics with software development focused on computational scientific modeling and simulation.

• SQL Database and Data Modeling experience

• Windows and Linux development experience

• Knowledge in Indirect Artillery Fires

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $227,900.00
