Job Summary

• Plan and implement scheduled activities assigned that assists in maintaining each resident’s highest functioning level dealing with physical, spiritual and mental well-being aspects.

• Follow the individual plan of care for each resident as assigned and maintain documentation of the same.

• Maintain equipment, inventory and department area.

• Attend in-service training and workshops as assigned to become aware of new developments in the field.

• Provide activity of daily living and care to residents.

• Performs restorative and rehabilitative services as directed.

• Complete appropriate documentation as needed.

Education and Training:

• A minimum of high school education or GED required.

• Experience in the field of gerontology is preferred by not necessary.

• Ability to read, write and follow oral/written directions.

• CNA certificate required within 4 months of hire.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm; 72hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
