Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic performs routine maintenance and repair work on machinery, equipment, systems, buildings, and facilities.

• Perform mechanical preventative maintenance on all equipment according to schedule

• Inspect machinery, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair to keep production running (reducing down time)

• Effectively troubleshoot all mechanical equipment, corrective action, repair, replace or rebuild

• Read, interpret and follow blueprints and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete the job

• Complete work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc.

• Perform clerical duties as necessary to maintain proper records

This is a fully on-site position in Berlin, New Jersey.

Can be hot or humid

Surfaces can be wet, dusty, and uneven

High noise levels, vibration, and/or fumes

PPE - Steel Toes, Ear Protection, Eye Protection, Gloves, and Head Protection in certain areas
