Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Pittsburg, California. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner. You will also monitor customer accounts, ensuring appropriate action is taken when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process accounts payable invoices and checks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Address vendor inquiries in a collaborative manner, resolving any invoice inquiries or payment discrepancies

• Process employee expense reports with proper approvals and receipts

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

• Ensure proper GL coding of invoices/expense reports and record entries as necessary

• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor master file for completeness and accuracy

• Produce annual 1099s tax filings and assist with month-end and year-end close for accruals and reconciliation

• Assist with Payroll data entry and additional payroll duties as assigned

• Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficient in 3 Way Matching process

• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel

• Ability to use Pivot Table function effectively

• Experience with VLOOKUP function in Excel

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) role

• Strong data entry skills
