FHC Office of National Scholarship and Post Graduation Success Administrative Assistant
The David C. Frederick Honors College (FHC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the FHC Office of National Scholarship and Post Graduation Success. This position will work closely with the Director and Fellowships Advisors as well as other units within the FHC and across campus. Preferred candidate will have an associate degree in a related field as well as 3 years administrative experience and good working knowledge of budgetary processes and social media platforms. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Job Summary
Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.
Essential Functions
This position is responsible for day-to-day operations of the office, scheduling meetings and coordinating interviews, ensuring space reservations, managing the social media account and marketing materials, and assisting with event planning and execution. The successful incumbent will exhibit excellent customer service and ability to collaborate on multifaceted projects with external vendors, conduct data entry, provide data analytics, and assist with other office operations as directed. The individual in this position should be detail oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively with FHC staff as well as staff from other units of the University, faculty, and students.
Physical Effort
Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift up to 20lbs if necessary.
