Part Time Driver in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Pick up donations from various locations in an efficient and honest manner, as assigned.
- Accurately document weight and temperature of donations from each store, if required.
- Submit all paperwork/data at the end of each shift.
- Responsible for the proper chain of custody of donations and related paper trail.
- Perform duties as part of the loss prevention team to protect the security of donations.
- Collect necessary information from donors/suppliers, as requested by Manager.
- Help put donated food away in proper storage.
- Interact with staff and all others in a pleasant, helpful, courteous and professional manner.
- Develop and ensure a positive and appropriate working relationship with donors, vendors and community representatives.
- Represent and maintain proper Image of agency by appropriate attire, personal appearance and manner.
- Maintain valid and current PA driver license and clean driving record throughout course of EECM employment.
- Drive vehicle(s) in a lawful and safe and courteous manner, as prescribed by EECM procedures and the PA Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Ensure that agency vehicle(s) is driven only for assigned agency related business with no passengers, except as assigned by supervisor.
- Immediately report to Human Resources Director and to Manager any accidents, incidents and/or motor vehicle driver infractions, which may or may not change the status of a valid driver license.
- Submit copy of current driver license to supervisor as expiration(s) occur.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings, as assigned.
- Assist Manager, as assigned.
- Attend all required Safety Truck Trainings provided by EECM
- Provide support for kitchen, pantry and dish room, as needed.
- Develop relationships with donors, vendors and community representatives.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
- Assist others in the Community Food Services department, as needed.
