Citizens Servicing Operations Senior Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Description
As the Servicing Operations Sr Specialist, you will be responsible for processing escheatment transaction requests for customers, branch colleagues and internal colleagues. The Servicing Operations Sr Specialist will provide support across multiple business lines including Legal Garnishments and Escheatment in the Payment Processing Department. The Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to clerical work, data entry, research, customer phone calls, and miscellaneous project and audit support.
Primary responsibilities include
Performs advanced clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature in a fast-paced environment.
Utilizes methods, procedures and knowledge of the business unit's product(s) and application(s).
Research routine customer, brand, or bank inquiries as appropriate.
Determines the source of problems and works to resolve them accurately and within service level agreements.
Will also utilize knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to help minimize financial risk to Citizens and detailed knowledge of multiple systems to solve problems.
May need to work independently on special projects often interaction with all levels of management, serving as a resource for the business unit.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, cross train within the department and assume additional responsibilities as requested by management.
The position may include reporting responsibilities and may assume department administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Primary responsibilities include:
Reviewing legal and escheatment documents and determining appropriate action to take
Handing customer, attorney and colleague phone inquiries
Reporting daily volumes and creating action plans
Adherence to risk management requirements, including regulatory and product changes
Processing of miscellaneous customer service requests
Research and Problem Solving
Gathering and reporting of statistical data
GL Reconciliation
Procedure Updates
Process Improvement
Required Skills/Experience:
Ability to develop & sustain strong, positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues and business partners
Strong written and communications skills
Ability to research and problem solve complex issues
Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Able to work with all levels of colleagues from clerical to Senior Management
Word and Excel proficient
GL reconciliation/matching experience
Strong process improvement skills
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F
