We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications. The successful candidate will be a high-energy individual who can develop peer relationships that build on positive and open interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.

• Develop and maintain high-quality code in React for the front-end and Node.js for the back end.

• Participate in the architecture and implementation of cloud-native solutions, leveraging technologies such as AWS serverless.

• Assist in solving technical problems and troubleshoot issues during development and production.

• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality and best practices.

• Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them as appropriate to our development process.

Key Duties:

• Lead through industry change to help agents and franchisees react swiftly to new market developments.

• Transform integrated owned brokerage into a new competitive market positioning via integration and digital delivery.

• Invest in our luxury business with a focus on new revenue sources to differentiate our industry leadership.

• Fortify our mass-market franchise business by combining existing earnings power with new revenue opportunities and a modernized, digital-led services approach.

• Execute a cross-company transformation focusing on simplifying, standardizing, digitizing, automating, and using Generative AI to create a faster, more efficient company.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with 2 to 5 years of hands-on development experience.

• Strong proficiency in React and Node.js, with a track record of delivering successful web applications.

• Familiarity with cloud-native development principles and experience with cloud platforms like AWS.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and related libraries (e.g., Redux).

• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.

• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

• Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
