Forklift Operator

Overview:

The facility manufactures and produces a variety of plastic compounds used in multiple industries (i.e., thermoplastics, custom compounds, plastic adhesives, bioplastics, etc.). Their products can be found in home/consumer goods, automotive industries, and more. They are seeking several long term Warehouse/Forklift Operators. In this position you are responsible for maintaining and meeting all production goals as well as productivity to obtain complete customer satisfaction through production value and employee effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit down Forklift 75% of the shift

• Perform general warehouse tasks: lifting, pushing, bending, stacking

• Maintain documentation

• Follow packaging instructions to properly complete a pack out

• Assist with the cleaning of equipment and other department cleaning procedures

• Review and complete assigned work orders

• Inspect product to identify and remove contaminations

• Must be able to lift 55 lbs

• Company is located in Plainfield, IL and is expected to relocate to Montgomery, IL in 2025.
