Insight Global Office Facilities Manager in Plainville, Connecticut

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire an Office Facilities Manager for an engineering consulting firm in Plainville, CT. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing various office facility functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement, office services, and administration, including evaluating teams, optimizing productivity, and managing budgets.

  • Establish contracts and pricing for office supplies, utilities, vendors, job supplies, safety supplies, and material supplies.

  • Oversee subcontractor management, leases, cell phone programs, accounts payable, scientific equipment, leasehold improvements, and IT infrastructure.

  • Create and manage purchasing policies, approval limits, and delegation of authority.

  • Manage records retention and inter-office communication.

  • Oversee office services such as phones, mail, and supplies, manage emergency services, and develop necessary policies.

  • Work closely with the CEO & President.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality, Psychology, Management, Communications or related field

  • Experience with office facility functions (including, but not limited to: procurement, office administration, purchasing, and subcontractor management) - Experience with equipment maintenance or oversight

  • 3+ years of experience null
