A Typical Day
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for design, development, management and support of advanced course material and training aides for specified needs, including leadership training. As the Instructional Designer , you will mentor peers, as well as, perform needs analysis and recommend the best training modality to deliver or improve training.
The Senior Instructional Designer will :
Coordinate and oversee development team of colleagues and subject matter experts, explain roles and expectations, provide project documentation, develop project plan, manage to timeline, and resolve project-related problems and issues
Guide the business on strategy implementation in the pursuit of business solutions
Acquire and apply advance knowledge of the business, its products and processes to create training materials that solution business needs
Gather information, analyze data trends, identify root cause(s), and provide information to the business or project teams
Work in coordination with Manager, Training to develop tools and processes to measure effectiveness of curriculum solutions and learner performance to ensure solutions meet employee skill development requirements
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant work experience
Expertise with LMS and content development software such as: Lectora, Captivate, PhotoShop, InDesign, etc.
Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
