Robert Half Financial Analyst in Plantation, Florida

Description We are offering a role in the insurance industry for a Financial Analyst situated in Plantation, Florida. The role involves handling a temporary assignment related to an insurance bordereau project and would be most suitable for someone with a strong background in data management and financial reporting. The workplace is highly collaborative, and the role involves working with large data sets.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of bordereau reports for insurance purposes.

• Handle large datasets using Excel and Power Query to ensure accurate reporting.

• Use Microsoft Access or SQL for running queries and validating data integral to the bordereau process.

• Work closely with the finance and accounting team to ensure all data is reviewed and submitted in a timely manner.

• Maintain the accuracy of data inputs and identify any discrepancies in the bordereau reports.

• Provide necessary support to the finance department on the project as required.

• Use your skills in Excel, including advanced functions, Power Query, and working with large datasets.

• Use your experience with Microsoft Access or SQL for database management and reporting.

• Apply your strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Work independently in an on-site environment and meet project deadlines.

• Utilize your knowledge of Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques, Accounting Functions, Accrual Accounting, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, MS SQL Server, MS SQL Server 2005, MS SQL Server 2008, mSQL, MySQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL, SQL, SQL Database, SQL Navigator, SQL Queries, SQL Reporting, Microsoft Access Queries, Microsoft Access, Data Queries, Queries, Complex Queries, Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Data Analysis, Data Analytics, Perform Data Analysis, Quantitative Data Analysis, Statistical Data Analysis, Custom Reports, Claims Processing, Insurance Claims, Medical Claims, Medical Insurance, Insurance Policy, Policy, Risk Assessment for effective execution of your responsibilities. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Proven experience in a Financial Analyst role within the Insurance industry.

• Proficiency in various Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services.

• Experience with CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting.

• Knowledge of Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management.

• Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including versions 2005 and 2008.

• Familiarity with mSQL, MySQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft SQL.

• Experience with SQL, including SQL Database, SQL Navigator, SQL Queries, and SQL Reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Access Queries.

• Ability to perform Data Queries, including Complex Queries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Excel Formulas and Power Query.

• Experience in Data Analysis and Data Analytics, including Quantitative and Statistical Data Analysis.

• Ability to create Custom Reports.

• Experience in Claims Processing, including Insurance Claims and Medical Claims.

• Knowledge of Medical Insurance and Insurance Policy procedures.

• Experience with Policy management and Risk Assessment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.
