Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Travel to various fast food restaurants and gas stations for facilities and plumbing repairs. Identify and fix leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and perform other related repairs. Provide excellent customer service and effective communication. Document all work performed using a mobile app; candidates must be comfortable with smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various fast food restaurants and gas stations for maintenance and repairs.

• Identify and repair leaks, clogs, and broken pipes.

• Install FRP walls in restaurant kitchens.

• Maintain and repair grease traps, floor sinks/drains, p-traps, and faucets.

• Perform water heater replacements and backflow installations.

• Locate pipes, clogs, and breaks using various tools.

• Provide excellent customer service and communication.

• Document all work performed using a mobile app.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of plumbing experience.

• Experience in facilities maintenance.

• Skilled in snaking, jetting, using a camera or scope.

• Comfortable with smartphones for documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with FRP wall installations.

• Knowledge of restaurant design and commercial construction.

• Ability to work with mechanical and facility maintenance tasks.

• Possess own set of basic tools.

• Good attitude, team player, and willing to learn.

• Strong communication skills.

Work Environment

Shift options are from 8am-5pm or 8pm-5am. Employees will be provided with company work uniforms, a cell phone, a gas card, and access to the company's Home Depot account. Use of a company vehicle is required, and it can be taken home for all jobs. On-call rotations occur every 3-4 weeks, with schedules provided approximately 6 weeks in advance. Initial training will take place in San Diego for the first 3 weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00
