ManpowerGroup Cost Accountant / Cost Analyst in Plymouth, Minnesota

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Cost Analyst III to join their team. As a Cost Analyst III, you will be part of the finance department supporting the site controller and collaborating with FP&A analysts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cost Analyst III

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Range: $40-$43/hr on w2

What's the Job?

  • Provide day-to-day financial support to the site controller, including reviewing and analyzing work order manufacturing variances.

  • Support the month-end close process by analyzing cost center transactions in SAP and preparing timely month-end reports.

  • Analyze manufacturing performance reports and provide explanations for variances in yields, scrap, and rework.

  • Assist in the quarterly forecasting process by inputting data and verifying accuracy against previous forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with all Abbott procedures and applicable regulatory agency requirements.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with SAP Cost Accounting system.

  • At least 5 years’ experience supporting a manufacturing site.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
