U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in Point Mugu, California

Summary You will serve as a INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Security Department of COMAEWINGPAC. Responsibilities You will support leadership in the areas of Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) for the command and local elements. You will prepare written guidance for COMACCLOGWING and local element EKMS policy and procedures. You will analyze command and Local Element EKMS incidents that occur. You will produce and distribute Electronic Key in both red and black format. You will coordinate establishment and support of the cryptonet by identifying the EKMS accounts. You will initiate and conduct annual review of all controlled systems. You will provide training for local elements EKMS personnel. You will prepare detailed inspection reports providing recommended corrective action on discrepancies cited. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supporting the administration of an Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) program by monitoring, transmitting, and safeguarding specialized communications security information. OR Completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.) OR Completion of a LL.B. or J.D., if related (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
