Description A Company is seeking a highly organized and personable Medical Receptionist for their healthcare facility based in Pomona, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

Responsibilities: Greeting patients and families upon arrival and providing necessary instructions. Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient queries. Keeping track of patient records through electronic health records system. Assisting patients in filling out necessary forms and paperwork. Processing patient payments and insurance claims. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and comfortable waiting area. Facilitating communication between patients, doctors, and medical staff. Adhering to policies for patient confidentiality and privacy as per HIPAA regulations. Assisting in the maintenance of medical inventory. Performing other administrative duties as assigned by the facility manager. Requirements Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalency required. Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office and healthcare management systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer service-oriented mindset. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare insurance preferred. Experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting will be an advantage.
