We are looking for a Area Maintenance Coordinator to join our Petrochemicals (CP) team in Port Arthur, TX.

We are seeking a professional like you to coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and be the point of contact for contractors on site. You will ensure work is planned and scheduled, resources are coordinated efficiently, and all activities are executed safely. You will communicate job status across departments, resolve issues, and manage work priorities. Your ability to make risk-based decisions and manage budgets will be key. Understanding best practices for maintenance processes is essential for this role

As a Area Maintenance Coordinator (Port Arthur, TX), you create chemistry by...

• Overseeing the execution of contracted mechanical maintenance and operational support activities.

• Providing field/shop supervision and quality assurance over contractor mechanical maintenance activities.

• Assisting in troubleshooting mechanical equipment, diagnosing problems, and determining necessary repairs and replacements.

• Ensuring contractor mechanical field work is performed safely and complies with site/industry standards and best practices.

• Managing planned maintenance craftwork for nested contractors and assisting with site resources.

• Coordinating mechanical maintenance and operational support activities with various teams and contractors.

If you...

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Have maintenance leadership experience in a chemical or related manufacturing environment.

• Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

• Have a workplace safety mindset.

• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
