Cleveland Clinic RN Ambulatory OR Circulator - Surgery Center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Tradition Hospital's Surgery Center treats common and complex conditions and offers minimally invasive methods, including robotic-assisted surgery and laparoscopic surgery. As RN, you will provide professional care to patients in an ambulatory surgical care setting. In this role, you should be familiar with completing nursing assessments, performing telephone triage, establishing care plans and administering medications and treatments. You will also collaborate with Care Coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
A caregiver in this position works from 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform telephone triage.
Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements, and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety.
Maintain professional growth and development in the nursing field and identify annual core competencies.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of accredited school of Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:
Full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
Corrected hearing and vision to normal range
Some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
Light Work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
