Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage project cost control activities in a refinery setting.

• Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Monitor project costs and financial performance, ensuring alignment with project budgets.

• Conduct detailed analysis and provide monthly cost reports to project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate cost overruns or variances.

• Develop and implement cost control procedures and best practices.

• Support project managers by providing accurate cost information and recommendations.

• Participate in project planning and scheduling to support cost control measures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of project controls experience, specifically within a refinery environment.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.

• Field-oriented professional with the ability to work on-site and interact with various project teams.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Must live within driving distance of Sulphur, LA to be considered for this position.
