POSITION OVERVIEW The responsibilities of the warehouse receiving clerk are to ensure inventory accuracy by working with warehouse associates and inventory/planning associates. Inventory relates to both finished goods in the warehouse and tank farm storage containers. The receiving clerk will also have a working knowledge of the Warehouse Facilitator duties to function as backup. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Verifying Weights and lots on inbound materials Receiving raw material PO\'s and Ariba purchases for Supply Chain Label and storing raw materials properly after receipt Reconciliation of Bulk Material sheets Supporting Distribution Specialist, when time allows Accurate and Timely Computer transactions Audit Warehouse SOPs to support Warehouse Facilitator. Identify waste material for pick up per Environmental Professionals instructions Direct handling of nonconforming product Provide raw materials COA\'s to lab Follow all plant procedures to ensure no negative impacts on Environmental, Health, Safety, and Responsible Care processes of Milliken Chemical. Support Cycle count as needed (Finished Goods/Raw Materials) Other duties and projects as requested by Supply Chain Manager Be actively involved in safety committees on the plant site Attend all plant meetings and complete all trainings on time. Maintain 5S standards. Ability to occasionally push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds. SAFETY - Adhere to all plant safety policies and compliance regulations. Actively participate in the safety process through completing of safety audits, participating in safety projects, identifying Site Hazards and contributing to safety improvements, and being an attending member of a safety team.
