Robert Half HR Administrator in Portland, Oregon

Description We are searching for an HR Administrator to join our team in Portland, Oregon. The role involves extensive involvement in the human resources department, including managing employee paperwork, overseeing the onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintaining our HRIS system. This role will also entail assisting with payroll changes, benefits and leave management, and policy development.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of new hire paperwork and status changes for employees.

• Coordinate and conduct onboarding sessions for newly hired employees.

• Maintain and manage employee records and files in our HRIS system.

• Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll changes and updates.

• Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and effectively communicate benefit terms and conditions to employees.

• Manage and process different employee leave applications, ensuring proper tracking.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Handle offboarding procedures for terminating employees.

• Utilize skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, and FMLA.

• Ensure all HR tasks and procedures are in compliance with federal and state laws. Requirements • Must possess at least one year of experience in HR Administration

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software

• Proficient in executing Benefit Functions

• Excellent Communication skills are required

• Must be knowledgeable in HR Compliance practices

• Experience in handling Employee Relations

• Understanding of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must have strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to exercise good judgment.
