Description

We are looking for an Attorney to add to our Energy/Regulatory practice. The role involves supporting our growing energy regulatory practice and requires expertise in administrative/regulatory law, regulated industries, and environmental law. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping our clients navigate the energy transition by, for example, planning for and implementing clean energy mandates, maintaining affordability, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to our busy and growing energy regulatory practice

• Assist clients in navigating the energy transition

• Work on siting transmission lines and planning for and implementing clean energy mandates

• Support clients in acquiring renewable generation and decarbonized fuels

• Help maintain affordability for our clients

• Exhibit excellent writing and research skills

• Engage in pro bono work and community involvement

Requirements

Juris Doctor required

Active license in Oregon

Strong interest in Energy/Regulatory Law (previous experience a huge plus)

Previous experience working for a public utility company preferred
