Payroll Specialist - Post Falls School District (full-time position working 9.25 hrs Monday through Thursday. One Friday each month we work an 8 hour day in addition to our Monday through Thursday schedule).

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of 3 years of experience processing complex payrolls, preferably in an educational or public sector setting. Experience with payroll software.

JOB SUMMARY: The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the\ monthly payroll for all employees within the school district. This includes calculating wages,\ ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws, managing deductions,\ processing benefits, and addressing payroll inquiries. The ideal candidate will have\ excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven\ environment.
